with european or foreign players becoming more and more a part of the nba game when will we finally see some of europes or the worlds top coaches come to the nba...every olympics or world championships the USA gets outplayed and outcoached by Teams we should beat, since we have the best players one would think the coaching is the reason for this...instead or giving the same old coaches chance after chance like Jeff VanGundy or PJ Carlesimo, who really just bring their style to another team without caring about the talents of the players, why not bring in some of the foreign coaches to shake things up see if they can coach on this level...we gave the foreign players a shot and they are more than producing in this league with a couple of them already superstars like Yao Ming Pau Gasol and Nowitski, so why not let the coaches who trained these guys have a shot...and also i been hoping for a allstar game with american players vs foreign nba players for years now...how can we make it happen

unless you're a player, getting a coaching spot in a team has more to do with who you know. i still think some of the best coaches are in the NBA. another thing to point out is that international coaches are used to the idea that they are the boss. those coaches are dictators in their locker rooms. it is not so simple in the NBA. the players will only be coached if they allow the coach to, well, coach.

only if the president of the NBA starts calling foreign team, cause basketball isn't that big of a sport in the rest of teh world, most of it are football countries (FOOTBALL not that american football crap united staters love so much)
the nba is giving other people a shot. if they have skill, they will get their chance in the nba. the big difference between international ball and american ball is that the international game is more of a team game. those players have been playing together since they were teenagers. they emphasize teamwork unlike in america where its all offense no defense me first scoring. thats why team usa lost last time.
