The Nuggets shot 68.8% from the free throw line and 67.0% from the field so it got me wondering if another free throw miss (which would bring the FT% to 66.7%) would have made history. As a regular checker of box scores due to my fantasy endeavors I've never seen these 2 team stats be this close and it paints an odd picture of how the game went. Has it ever been worse though?

Yeah, lots of times. By the way Shaq has missed 4872 free throws in his career, if he had made those then he'll be near 30000 points.
the rockets did a few months ago they made 2/20 free throws so im pretty sure they had a better fg % for the game!
agree with you, shaq's is not good with that department
I think Chicago had a game when Ben missed 8 ft of 8 and hinrich and gordon didn't get to the line.
